Malaria, TB and HIV/AIDS

14 Sep

The Global Fund are doing excellent work when it comes to HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria. Here is an excerpt from an email I received from them today. Please click on the link below and add your voice.

Today, we have an opportunity that is rare in human history: We can give the gift of health to future generations. By 2015, we can practically eliminate mother-to-child transmission of HIV and dramatically reduce the number of tuberculosis and malaria deaths worldwide. But we need to keep up the pace for change — otherwise, we risk losing millions more lives to these preventable diseases. That’s why I have signed an open letter asking for continued support from the United States’ leadership so that by 2015, millions of lives will be saved from AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. I’m not alone — incredible people like Morgan Freeman and Annie Lennox have also signed on and pledged to do what they can for this cause. And now, we are asking you to join us.

It begins with you. Read the open letter and become a co-signer now — it takes a minute and will make a great difference:
