Things I’ve Done

25. Held a lamb (fed one, not held one!)
26. Gone skinny dipping (not for me I’m afraid!)
27. Run a Marathon (I’ve run a 5k)

29. Seen a total eclipse
30. Watched a sunrise or sunset

31. Hit a home run (in the British version – rounders!))

33. Seen Niagara Falls in person
34. Visited the birthplace of your ancestors

36. Taught yourself a new language (not well)

41. Sung karaoke. (terribly … I was drunk of course!)

43. Bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant (I’ve brought a homeless guy I didn’t know McDonald’s before – does that count?

45. Walked on a beach by moonlight

50. Been to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris (I couldn’t make it all the way up – too high!)

89. Saved someone’s life. (I worked in intensive care as an RN so was part of a team regularly saving lives

90. Sat on a jury (not allowed to in this country as I’m an RN)

91. Met someone famous
92. Joined a book club
93. Lost a loved one
94. Had a baby

95. Seen the Alamo in person
96. Swam in the Great Salt Lake
97. Been involved in a law suit
98. Owned a mobile phone
99. Been stung by a bee (ouch, and it hurt!)
100. Read an entire book in one day

    OK, I have to ask – what does being an RN have to do with not being able to sit on a jury?

    You know I’m not really sure why. Maybe it’s because they’d rather have RN’s at work as they are short of them in the UK anyway? Doctors and Dentists are exempt too.
