Max on Life – Book Review

27 Apr

Max On Life: Answers and Inspiration for Today’s Questions is the latest release by Max Lucado. It is a book that is compiled of answers to the many questions he has received from people over the years. This book is really easy and quick to read through. The layout of it also makes it simple for the reader to be able to go straight to section of particular questions/answers that s/he may wish to read:

Questions and answers include such topics as aging, finances, poverty, when prayers don’t get answered, can your life count, forgiveness, patience, talking to your children about sex, prodigals etc.

I have to admit that I haven’t read any Max Lucado books in the past and was pleasantly surprised with this one. I think it would be a wonderful book to give to someone who is a new Christian, or even struggling with an area of his or her faith at this time. The answers that Max gives are not always the ones that one might perceive he would give.

Would I recommend reading this book? For sure, I even think it would be good to have lying around the house to help you with answers to some of the tough questions you might get from those seeking/struggling with God.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from Thomas Nelson Publishers as part of their book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
